Vertex Hospitality Group is looking for a Real Estate Paralegal (Bilingual in Mandarin) to join our growing organization!
Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Real Estate Paralegal to join our Legal Department. This role will entail providing administrative support to our attorney to provide professional information to clients. This is a great opportunity to gain broad experience in the legal field within a fast-paced work environment!
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Preparing and reviewing contracts, including lease or rental agreements and closing documents, LLC operating agreements and shareholder agreements
- Facilitating communication between the lawyers for tenant and landlords, as well as internal communications, such as those between corporate team and franchise partners
- Reviewing leases and drafting lease abstracts in mandarin Chinese
- Monitoring and following up on financial transactions
- Answering clients’ questions
- Acquiring the necessary documentation as requested
- Preparing agreements and other legal documents under attorney supervision
- Assist with any other assigned tasks
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Mandarin required.
- 2 years of Experience working in a Paralegal capacity preferred.
- 2 years of experience working in Real Estate preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Law, or related field.
- Basic knowledge in legal contracts and corporate governance.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Attention to detail, with creative problem-solving skills
- Strong desire to learn, along with a professional drive to succeed
- Passion for the Business Law and its best practices
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Driver's license preferred.
